Adrien W. Reidy

Adrien W. Reidy, PT, DPT is the owner of Rowing on the Square a Physical Therapy and Rowing Coaching clinic in Rochester, NY. She is a Rochester native who earned her bachelor’s in physical therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2000 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2006. While studying for her bachelor’s she was introduced to rowing and has been rowing ever since. She is a US Rowing Level 3 coach and Para Technical Classifier. She has had the opportunity to be a RowCon presenter, Virtual Masters Conference Presenter, US Rowing Coaching Level 3 Biomechanics Instructor and guest Physical Therapist for US Rowing Senior training camp. She stays active in the Rochester rowing community. She has coached juniors, collegiate, and masters. She has also served as a rowing club executive director. She continues to compete in local and regional regattas. One of her favorite memories is rowing in the Black Women’s 8+ at the Head of the Charles in 2024 with Rowing in Color. When not rowing she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. She believes rowing is a fantastic tool for lifelong fitness to not only promote lifespan but more importantly health span.
